Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, conducting the check-in process.
- Answer phones promptly and manage inquiries regarding appointments and services.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's calendar effectively.
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details accurately.
- Maintain an organized and clean reception area to enhance the patient experience.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and operational efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical administration is preferred.
- Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is beneficial.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software.
- Strong organizational abilities and a friendly attitude to make patients feel comfortable.
