Job Overview
Affera Mapping Specialist (CAS) at Medtronic – Greenville, New Bern, Wilmington, Raleigh, Fayetteville, NC. The position is remote within the territory and requires travel to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical and technical support and training to physicians and staff on EP mapping/navigation systems and all CAS products.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical aspects of CAS products and related procedures.
- Promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic CAS products.
- Support national, regional, and territory sales objectives to exceed sales goals within CAS products.
- Develop and cultivate customer relationships that drive incremental business.
- Partner with Account Managers, Regional Managers, and Area Directors to identify potential sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with the local sales team to conduct customer training for mapping and other CA Solutions products.
- Communicate with the sales and clinical teams in the region.
- Act as an effective Medtronic CAS representative to physicians and support staff regarding products, service, and support.
- Serve as a regional champion, sharing experience and influencing others to achieve proficiency in mapping technology.
- High school diploma plus a minimum of 6 years of related experience in cardiac mapping and navigation.
- OR Associate degree plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
- OR Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- BA/BS in nursing, cardiovascular, life sciences, or a related technical discipline with at least 4 years of experience in the cardiac field, hospital/clinic, or sales.
- Proven track record of technical training assignments.
- Experience in cardiac catheter ablation, EP lab, or EP medical sales providing technical/clinical support.
- Ability to travel more than 25% of the time.
Job Requirements
- Environmental exposure to infectious disease and radiation.
- Be within assigned territory each day; occasionally travel outside the territory, including overnight stays.
- Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance; driving approximately 50% of the time within assigned territory.
- Ability to use a phone, keyboard, mouse, and computer; visually able to interact with personal computers.
- Physical ability to stand/sit/walk for up to 8 hours a day.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.

Benefits & CompensationSalary range: USD 120,000–125,000 with a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP). Eligible for comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits as outlined in Medtronic’s benefit package.
