Travel Respiratory Therapist-WMTS

Overview

The Travel Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management, and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. Patient populations consist of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates effectiveness of therapy with communication to physician and health care team. Wake Med Travel Staffing offers staff roles with flexibility and stability in the North Carolina Triangle region.

Staff have opportunities to work across all Wake Med locations to provide the highest level of quality care to our patients.

• Basic Life Support (Adult)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Adult)
• Basic Life Support (Neonatal/Pediatric)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Neonatal/Pediatric)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Neonatal/Pediatric)

Certified Respiratory Therapist Required – or Registered Respiratory Therapist Required – and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner Required.

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Required.

1 Year Clinical – Respiratory Therapy Required.
