Job Summary:

Del Bianco Prosthetics and Orthotics, a specialty Prosthetic and Orthotic Provider in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a healthcare professional interested in entering the field of prosthetics and orthotics. We are hiring for roles such as DME FITTER, CAST TECH, MEDICAL ASSISTANT, or other related positions. We will provide training and support to help you start your career in the DME/Prosthetic/Orthotic profession.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with patients, have skills in art (especially clay sculpture), fabrication/assembly of parts or models, and possess a basic understanding of anatomy, particularly of the lower limb and spine. This role offers challenging but rewarding work, distinct from traditional medical assisting. Responsibilities:

• Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts and notes, and setting up medical equipment
• Clean instruments and equipment after use
• Answer phones and address questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
• Learn how to fabricate braces and prostheses
• Spend most of the time treating patients and fitting DME and Foot Orthotics
