Description

Concord Hospitality is seeking a proactive and results‑driven Catering & Sales Manager to lead social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings. This role combines sales, event management, and guest service, with a focus on maximizing revenue and delivering exceptional experiences. A flexible schedule, including weekends (and peak‑season Tuesday–Saturday), is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and manage social and corporate catering events, including guest rooms, banquet food & beverage, and upselling contracted groups.
  • Negotiate contracts, suggest menus, and coordinate room setups according to policy and client needs.
  • Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction.
  • Generate new business through solicitation, networking, and follow‑up with past clients.
  • Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintain accurate event records.
  • Lead pre‑event, on‑site, and post‑event communications to ensure service excellence.
  • Monitor budgets, sales quotas, and revenue opportunities; implement strategies to increase catering revenue during low‑demand periods.
  • Conduct site tours for prospective clients and facilitate client meetings as needed.
  • Train, delegate, and guide staff to ensure smooth operation of events and service standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in catering sales, hotel convention services, banquet management, hotel sales, or culinary arts (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Guest‑focused with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
  • Salary Range: $65,000 – $82,000.
