Housekeeper, Hospitality ​/ Hotel ​/ Catering

Description

As a Housekeeper at the Sanderling Resort, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms, common areas, and other resort facilities.

• Clean and maintain guest rooms and resort spaces according to the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s).
• Promptly respond to guest requests, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience.
• Maintain adequate supplies, linen, and materials, keeping inventory and replenishing when necessary.
• Safeguard and manage any assigned keys throughout the shift.
• Adhere to proper handling of cleaning supplies to ensure safety and prevent damage to hotel property.
• Notify the supervisor of any maintenance issues or special requests.
• Assist in preventive cleaning programs and other special assignments as required.

• A strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but optional.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.

* Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
