Summary

As a Bartender for the Hotel Division of Summit Hospitality Group, you are responsible for preparing alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks for guests according to specified recipes, using standard measuring systems, issuing, opening, and serving wine, champagne, beer, and mixed drinks. This role is highly visible at the hotel and requires a strong focus on service excellence.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in hotels, restaurants, country clubs, or banquet facilities with high volume and active serving environments.
  • Exceptional people‑pleasing orientation.
  • Strong professional and personal work ethic.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to learn quickly, train others, and develop and maintain positive relationships with banquet staff.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure all guests are of proper age to consume alcohol by following standard and federal/state/local regulations.
  • Prepare delicious drinks and serve beverages according to standard product supply and to measuring standards.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Follow all corporate safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management.
  • Complete and maintain safety training and certifications.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Develop positive working relationships, support the team to reach goals, and respond to concerns.
  • Complete brand‑required training.
Work Environment
  • Flexible work schedule including availability on nights and weekends.
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Able to stand, sit, bend, reach or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Duties may change and additional duties may be assigned.
