Purpose

The role of a Team Lead is to ensure top-quality hospitality is delivered to our guests while supporting the team throughout daily operations. This position helps create and maintain an inviting atmosphere built on positivity, support, shared knowledge, and effective communication.

Supervisory Responsibilities

No direct reports. However, this role will assist in supervising the Front of House management team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper daily operations of the bar including but not limited to product control, guest engagement, cleanliness, health and hygiene, and quality control.
  • Build strong rapport with Drive Shack’s guests and promote prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Organize and supervise shifts.
  • Assist in daily staff formation, as well as training and ongoing development.
  • Ensure work is carried out in ways that minimize risks to the health and safety of both employees and guests, and maintain compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between guests, bar staff, supervisors, and managers.
  • Be responsive to all guest requests and concerns.
  • Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.
  • Participate in additional projects assigned to support broader company initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong stamina and mobility.
  • Work schedule varies and will include days, nights, holidays, and weekends; role requires standing and/or walking for extended periods both indoors and outdoors.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with staff at all levels.
  • Familiarity with safety, sanitation standards, and industry best practices.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a high-energy hospitality environment that can include loud noise levels, fluctuating temperatures, and periods of high guest volume.
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching are required throughout the shift.
  • Duties may include moving between indoor bar areas, outdoor bays, service stations, and upper or lower floors.
  • Exposure to cleaning agents, kitchen or bar equipment, and typical workplace hazards associated with food-and-beverage operations.
  • Flexible scheduling is required to support business needs, special events, and peak operational hours.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the venue, including up and down stairs.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
