Position: HR Generalist / Recruiter

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Generalist/Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment and provide comprehensive support for HR functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong understanding of HR practices, and is passionate about talent acquisition and employee engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment (50%) Develop and post job descriptions on various platforms (Linked In, Indeed, internal career site, etc.).
  • Recruitment (50%) Source candidates through resume databases, social media, and professional networks.
  • Recruitment (50%) Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens and interviews.
  • Recruitment (50%) Coordinate interview scheduling and feedback collection with hiring managers.
  • Recruitment (50%) Extend job offers and manage the pre-employment process (background checks, references, etc.).
  • Recruitment (50%) Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with EEOC regulations.
  • HR Generalist Functions (50%) Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees.
  • HR Generalist Functions (50%) Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
  • HR Generalist Functions (50%) Provide support in administering HR policies and procedures.
  • HR Generalist Functions (50%) Assist with performance review cycles and training initiatives.
  • HR Generalist Functions (50%) Handle employee relations issues and escalate as appropriate.
  • HR Generalist Functions (50%) Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
  • HR Generalist Functions (50%) Participate in HR projects such as engagement surveys, diversity initiatives, and policy development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HR or recruitment (in-house or agency)
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS and applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
  • Experience with employer branding and social recruiting strategies
  • Familiarity with metrics-driven recruitment and reporting
Work Environment
  • On-site
  • Occasional travel may be required for job fairs or recruiting events
