Overview
Clear Sens Inc. is a deep-tech startup spun out of NC State University, developing next-generation wearable ultrasound systems. Our technology enables real-time physiological monitoring using custom micromachined ultrasonic transducer arrays, advanced electronics, and embedded signal processing.
We work closely with leading academic labs and U.S. government research partners on high-impact programs in human health, safety, and space-related applications. Our mission is to transform ultrasound from bulky hospital equipment into scalable, low-form-factor sensing platforms for real-world use. Clearsens' office is located on NC State University's Centennial Campus in Raleigh, NC.
PositionEmbedded Systems & FPGA Engineer
RoleThis role involves close collaboration with hardware, firmware, and signal processing engineers to develop and test high-performance embedded systems for advanced research and field-deployable platforms.
Qualifications- Solid foundation in FPGA or digital hardware design
- Background in Electrical Engineering or closely related field preferred
- Ability to translate algorithms into real-time hardware implementations
- Comfortable working across hardware, firmware, and signal processing
- Curiosity and willingness to learn in a research-driven startup environment
- Motivated by building systems used in real-world, high-impact applications
