Position Overview
We are seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our growing team in Raleigh, NC. This role sits at the intersection of sales, customer success, and product development, playing a critical part in our pre‑sales process and customer onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities Pre‑Sales Support- Partner with the sales team throughout the pre‑sales cycle to evaluate prospect needs and demonstrate how the Commerce Intelligence Engine solves their business challenges
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical deep‑dives for prospective brands and retailers
- Respond to RFPs and technical questionnaires
- Build trusted advisor relationships with technical and business stakeholders at prospect organizations
- Lead technical onboarding for new customers implementing the Commerce Intelligence Engine
- Design and execute implementation plans that ensure successful product adoption
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to customers during the setup and integration phases
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with internal teams for resolution
- Ensure customers realize value quickly and effectively from our platform
- Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback from prospects and customers
- Collaborate closely with Product leadership to communicate market needs and influence the product roadmap
- Translate customer requirements into actionable product capabilities and feature requests
- Identify patterns in customer feedback to recommend strategic product enhancements
- Contribute to product documentation and internal knowledge bases
- 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting role
- Proven track record supporting B2B software sales, pre‑sales, and/or client success, particularly e‑commerce SaaS sector
- Strong technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn complex software platforms
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience conducting product demonstrations and presentations to diverse stakeholder groups
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Background working with brands, retailers, or in the e‑commerce ecosystem
- Familiarity with data integration, APIs, and common retail technology stacks
- Experience influencing product strategy based on customer insights
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
