Next.js Developer

Job Description

• Develop and maintain Next.js front-end components and Sanity CMS integrations
• Convert Figma designs & wireframes into performant, reusable components
• Design and implement Sanity schemas, content models, workflows
• Support migration from legacy CMS using automation + AI tools
• Prototype and build AI-driven site features (search, personalization, etc.)
• Participate in code reviews and enforce high-quality practices
• Mentor junior engineers in Next.js, CMS setup, and AI workflows
• Integrate AI into every stage of development (design → build → debug → document)
• Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Help define CMS best practices from the ground up

• 5–6 years professional software engineering experience (front-end or full-stack)
• BS in CS/Engineering OR equivalent experience
• Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, JavaScript/Type Script
• Proven enterprise experience building & configuring Sanity CMS or other headless CMS
• Demonstrated and consistent usage of AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for coding, debugging, documentation
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication
• Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design
• Experience translating Figma → scalable components
• Strong understanding of headless CMS concepts, content models, APIs (REST / Graph
  
  QL / GROQ)
• Familiarity with Node.js, CI/CD, Agile
• Experience deploying to Vercel, Azure, AWS, etc.
• Routine use of AI-assisted development across workflow Prior Next.js + Sanity CMS used together in a production environment
• Experience designing Sanity Studio setups for enterprise
• Marketing/creative CMS workflow experience
• Web performance, SEO, accessibility expertise
• Experience leading or mentoring developers
• Prior involvement in CMS migrations or modernization projects
