* ** Thorough knowledge of modern server management principles, methodologies, and best practices**
* ** Strong knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center)**
* ** Experience with Azure Active Directory, MFA, and Conditional Access .**
* ** Familiarity with CJIS Security Policy and law enforcement data protection requirements**
* ** Knowledge of secure system administration practices within regulated or public safety environments**
* ** Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess organizational and procedural challenges and implement effective system improvements**
* ** Ability to apply current and emerging technologies to enhance ff services and support agency goals**
* ** Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision**
* ** Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to maintaining positive, professional working relationships**
* ** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users
** Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Contributes to planning and implementing major system upgrades and modifications related to server services, virtualization, and data storage platforms.
* Focus on implementation of security standards, compliance monitoring, and risk mitigation activities across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server environments.
* Works closely with other IT professionals in a law enforcement environment to maintain a secure server infrastructure and ensure adherence to Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy and state regulations.
* Requires both strategic and hands-on technical expertise, including full lifecycle responsibilities such as analysis, design, implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing operational support.
