Senior Frontend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Developer with strong UI/UX expertise to support a large-scale modernization initiative. This project focuses on transforming a legacy mainframe-based system into a modern, responsive, web-based platform within an Agile development environment.

• Build production-ready applications using React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks
• Replace legacy JSP screens with accessible, user-friendly web interfaces
• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards
• Integrate UI components with RESTful APIs
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Figma AI) to enhance productivity
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Support UI and unit testing using tools such as Jest, Jasmine, Selenium, or similar

• 5+ years of experience in front-end or UI-focused development
• 3+ years of experience creating wireframes and prototypes
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
• 3+ years of experience with unit/UI testing tools
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines

• Experience in modernizing legacy enterprise systems
• Hands-on implementation of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• This is a hands-on development role — not a pure design position.
• On-site work in Raleigh, NC, is required.
