Senior UI​/UX Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Developer to support a large-scale modernization initiative transforming legacy mainframe functionality into a modern, web-based platform. The role focuses on improving usability, accessibility, and scalability within an Agile development environment.

The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end UI/UX design process—from wireframes and prototypes to production‑ready interfaces—while ensuring WCAG accessibility compliance and seamless integration with backend services.

Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)

• 5+ years of UI/UX-focused full-stack development experience.
• Strong experience with React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks.
• Expertise in human-centered design, WCAG compliance, and responsive layouts.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and translating them into functional UIs.
• Experience with RESTful API integration and cross-browser optimization.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design/development tools (Figma AI, Uizard, Canva AI, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.).
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
