Role OverviewWe’re building a next generation platform that unifies multiple point products into a seamless, end-to-end solution. This role owns success outcomes for a major platform program
, directly influencing core operating objectives, customer value realization, and competitive differentiation.
As a lead product manager for our digital forensics investigation and management products, you will define and promote new product approaches that shape how data, workflows, and insights are delivered across the Magnet One ecosystem. You will apply seasoned judgment to ambiguous problem spaces, particularly where untested, evolving, or AI enabled technologies are involved.

What You’ll Do- Own major platform outcomes
- Define and manage cross‑platform product outcomes that support a major business or platform objective, spanning multiple teams, components, and releases.
- Translate high‑level strategic goals into measurable program‑level results, balancing near‑term delivery with long‑term platform evolution.
- Advance product strategy and practice
- Partner with the Director of Product Management and senior leaders to introduce and socialize new product approaches, frameworks, and integration patterns across the platform.
- Influence prioritization decisions that affect department level roadmaps and investment tradeoffs.
- Apply seasoned judgment in ambiguous domains
- Lead initiatives involving evolving or unproven technologies (including AI‑assisted workflows and complex data integrations), selecting approaches where outcomes cannot be fully defined upfront.
- Evaluate success using both quantitative metrics and qualitative signals where traditional measures may be insufficient.
- Program‑level execution leadership
- Oversee execution across multiple initiatives, ensuring alignment across engineering, UX, data, and adjacent product teams.
- Identify systemic risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs; proactively course‑correct to protect business outcomes.
- Executive communication and accountability
- Serve as the primary point of accountability for initiative performance, regularly communicating progress, risks, and outcomes to executive stakeholders.
- Frame product decisions in terms of customer impact, operational efficiency, and strategic value.
- Customer and market impact
- Lead customer validation at scale (betas, early access, lighthouse customers), synthesizing feedback into platform‑level insights and decisions.
- Ensure solutions materially improve customer workflows and deliver outcomes that are visible and defensible in the market.
