Level 1 Technician

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Level 1 Technician (Asset Management) to join their team onsite in Raleigh, NC and provide end-user support.

This is a 2-month contract position.

• Perform asset management for hardware, primarily laptops, recovery and tracking in Service Now
• Responsible for asset recovery, user follow-up, shipping logistics, and system updates
• Manage 22,000+ PC assets due to organizational growth and integration
• Manage increasing asset volume, especially end-user equipment (laptops)
• Perform asset deployment, monitor asset activity
• Perform user follow-up for inactive assets, and asset recovery after user termination or break/fix events
• Document recovery process and outcomes for accurate reporting and metrics
• Contact users to get information and updates on returned equipment

• Minimum 2+ years of IT experience
• Must be detail-oriented with experience in hardware and software asset management and worked on tools like Service Now

The rate for this position is between $26.25 - $35.00 per hour, unless local minimum wage is higher. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
