About the Role:

As a Dev Ops Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our client’s high‑availability voice and messaging platform.

This position bridges software engineering and systems engineering, ensuring reliable deployments, strong infrastructure performance, and operational excellence. You will collaborate closely with software developers, network engineers, and security teams to enhance automation, scalability, observability, and system resilience.

What You’ll Do:
  • Build and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure supporting mission‑critical communication services.
  • Optimize deployment pipelines: develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable software deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure: implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation to streamline provisioning and configuration.
  • Monitor & improve reliability: use observability platforms to monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
  • Strengthen system resilience: improve redundancy, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies across infrastructure.
  • Manage containerized environments: support containerized applications and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Implement security best practices: ensure infrastructure and deployment pipelines follow modern security standards.
  • Design & optimize network infrastructure: lead network architecture design and troubleshooting across cloud and hybrid environments, ensuring low‑latency, high‑availability connectivity for real‑time communication platforms.
  • Troubleshoot & support operations: diagnose production issues and participate in incident response to maintain platform stability.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally: work closely with engineering, networking, and security teams to support platform performance and scalability.
About You:
  • 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering roles with a strong foundation in modern cloud environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with GCP (preferred) or other major cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation to design and manage scalable environments.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, automated software deployments.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate processes and streamline operations.
  • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes or other container orchestration technologies.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
  • A natural problem‑solver who enjoys troubleshooting complex infrastructure challenges and optimizing system performance.
  • Collaborative and effective working across engineering, networking, and operations teams.
  • Experience in telecom, VoIP, or real‑time communications platforms a plus.
  • Exposure to SIP infrastructure, high‑availability systems, or low‑latency environments a plus.
  • Cloud or security certifications (GCP certifications highly valued).
