Win Magic Secure Doc Enterprise Server Administrator (Remote)

Description:

Looking for Win Magic Secure Doc Enterprise Server Administrator to support the Full Disk Encryption infrastructure for our customer's Endpoint Technology Engineering Infrastructure team to support the full disk encryption requirement mandated by the CISO as part of adhering to portions of the AS-805 Information Security Handbook specifically sections 9-7.1 Encryption.

The selected candidate will help manage the Win Magic Secure Doc full disk encryption infrastructure via the Secure Doc management platform.

Scope of Work
  • Deploy, monitor, and configure encryption policies across thousands of devices.
  • Support full disk encryption platforms, specifically Win Magic Secure Doc.
  • Design and enhancements to full disk encryption (Secure Doc) and remote support platforms (Dameware).
  • Conduct integration testing of new hardware devices for compatibility with Secure Doc and remote support platforms (Dameware).
  • Maintain full disk encryption (Secure Doc) and remote support platforms (Dameware) keeping them up to date and secure.
  • Provide expert‑level end‑user support and resolve escalated issues.
  • Manage and maintain Win Magic Secure Doc infrastructure components.
  • Test new hardware offerings for compatibility with full disk encryption and remote support platforms.
  • Keep full disk encryption and remote support platforms up to date and secure.
  • Provide day‑to‑day internal customer support (CISO, sales, clerks, etc.).
  • Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team.
  • Create time‑sensitive deliverables as required.
  • Lead project teams within the assigned unit, develop, plan, and manage project tasks.
  • Prepare materials and oral presentations for customers and management.
  • Lead meetings relating to specific technical projects or tasks.
  • Respond promptly to incidents in Service Now.
  • Assume responsibility for advanced technical issues in the environment for problem resolution.
  • Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with vendor support for all servers, software, and other hardware directly or with team members.
  • Test latest encryption software packages against current and future hardware and software platforms to ensure compatibility with the latest business refresh efforts.
  • Escalate and remediate incidents, including documentation of incident response workflows.
  • Evaluate program failures and implement remediation solutions for success.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability with multiple versions of end‑point products.
  • Prove testing capabilities with various end‑point products.
  • Have experience with various end‑point encryption products.
  • Develop data encryption and OS recovery tools to recover lost or corrupted user data files from defective hardware or from failed machine startups.
Experience/Education
  • Minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
  • Degree from an accredited college/university in the applicable field of services is preferred; four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree is required.
  • Expert knowledge of PC hardware, including BIOS (Basic Input Output System) and UEFI (Unified Extensible Firmware Interface) and how to integrate docking stations, install and troubleshoot firmware updates.
Deliverables
  • Regular updates on the status of investigations.
  • Reports on remediations.
  • Documentation of system infrastructure and configurations.
Additional Provisions
  • Pass both a client‑mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check, and credit check.
  • All candidates must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
  • Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for the past five years.
  • Cannot have more than six months of travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
