- Lead consulting engagements that reimagine end‑to‑end Pharma/biotech gross‑to‑net including pricing strategy, market access, contracting, and broader revenue management capabilities.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
- Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same.
- Effectively mentor others and use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
- Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
- Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm’s code of conduct, and independence requirements.
- Lead client engagements focused on GTN optimisation, from pricing and contracting strategy through technology implementation.
- Evaluate and redesign GTN processes to improve forecasting accuracy, accrual transparency, and financial reconciliation.
- Define functional and technical requirements for GTN models and technologies (e.g. Anaplan), including forecasting logic, rebate waterfalls, scenario planning, and dashboards.
- Architect solutions, both custom‑built and using leading technologies such as Anaplan, that integrate with upstream and downstream systems (ERP, CRM, Data Warehouse) and align with finance, commercial, and contracting workflows.
- Manage the design, build, testing, and deployment of GTN models in collaboration with PwC technology and change enablement teams.
- Develop and validate GTN models, including list‑to‑net waterfall simulations, accrual true‑ups, and price realization analyses.
- Lead financial modelling and variance analysis to identify value leakage and recommend process or policy improvements.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Market Access, Trade, and IT to institutionalise GTN governance and insights.
- Mentor and coach junior staff; foster capability building around Anaplan, data analytics, and GTN best practices.
- Support business development by contributing to proposals, case studies, and PwC thought leadership on digital GTN transformation.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with pharmaceutical companies or top‑tier consulting firms.
- Preferred Master of Business Administration in Engineering, Economics, Engineering and Business.
- Blend of consulting and industry experience in pricing and market access within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent understanding of US payer/channel economics including rebates, chargebacks, 340B, managed care, specialty pharmacy, and government pricing.
- Proven experience with Anaplan model building and administration, especially for GTN forecasting, trade spend, or revenue planning.
