We’re looking for a hands‑on Lead Dev Ops Engineer to architect, build, and operate our AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role combines technical leadership with deep individual contribution, requiring someone who leads by example while actively designing, implementing, and improving Dev Ops capabilities.
Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Ownership- Act as a hands‑on technical resource, setting the bar for Dev Ops engineering excellence
- Mentor and guide Dev Ops engineers through design reviews, automation standards, and operational best practices
- Define and enforce Dev Ops standards, patterns, and tooling across teams
- Partner with application, QA, and architecture teams to align Dev Ops strategy with business and delivery goals
- Design, implement, and operate scalable, secure, and resilient AWS infrastructure
- Own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS Cloud Formation
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Circle
CI, or AWS‑native services - Automate environment provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows
- Design and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Enable best practices for microservices deployment, scaling, and resilience on AWS
- Support platform capabilities such as blue/green and canary deployments
- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and dashboards using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Cloud Watch
- Own logging and observability solutions (e.g., Open Telemetry, Splunk)
- Lead root cause analysis, incident response, and continuous reliability improvements
- Participate in and help mature on‑call and operational support processes
- Enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM design, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
- Well experienced with all kinds of scanning (SCA, DAST, SAST, WIZ.IO)
- Drive AWS cost optimization through right‑sizing, automation, and cost‑management tooling
- 5+ years of experience in Dev Ops, SRE, or Cloud Engineering with strong hands‑on delivery
- Proven experience leading or acting as a technical lead for Dev Ops or SRE teams
- Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud architecture patterns
- Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible)
- Solid background building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git‑based workflows
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across engineering teams
- AWS certifications (Dev Ops Engineer, Solutions Architect, or equivalent)
- Experience with Git Ops tools such as Argo CD, Gitlab
- Familiarity with micro‑services and advanced Kubernetes networking
- Experience operating production systems at scale with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency
