- 5–8+ years of dedicated Dev Ops and Cloud engineering experience with strong Azure platform expertise
- Expert-level proficiency in designing and implementing Azure Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines utilizing YAML-based templates
- Hands‑on production experience with Docker containerization, image lifecycle management, and optimization
- Robust working knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration, specifically deployment and management within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Advanced scripting capabilities using Power Shell, Bash, or Python alongside Git-based version control and branching strategies
- Active industry certifications:
Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), CKA, or CKAD - Direct experience working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
- Practical exposure to Dev Sec Ops tools (Sonar Qube, Snyk) and implementation of pipeline security best practices
- Familiarity with Service Mesh architectures (Istio), advanced Kubernetes concepts, or multi‑cloud ecosystems (AWS/GCP)
We are seeking an elite Senior Azure Dev Ops Engineer for an immediate, critical onsite engagement based in Raleigh, NC. This strategic role is tailored for an automation champion who can design, implement, and scale complex, enterprise‑level CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes workloads. Operating at the intersection of development and operations, the selected architect will drive infrastructure modernization, maximize automation maturity, and champion Dev Sec Ops standards across high‑availability cloud environments.
ROLES& RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build, and optimize secure, end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops using reusable, modular YAML templates and frameworks
- Orchestrate containerized application deployment and manage multi‑node workloads on Kubernetes clusters (AKS), optimizing Helm charts for deployment reliability
- Lead infrastructure automation by defining and executing advanced deployment strategies, including Blue‑Green, Canary, and Rolling updates across Dev, QA, and Production environments
- Architect enterprise‑grade monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across clusters using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana to proactively resolve performance bottlenecks
- Collaborate directly with development, QA, and security architects to seamlessly embed Dev Sec Ops guardrails, maintain rigorous cloud governance, and mentor junior engineering talent
