Mainframe Systems Programmer
This is an onsite position – Local to Raleigh, NC only please
Description- This request is for a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert.
- The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS DB2 Elixir Endevor IMS and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial.
- Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
- The ability to provide configuration management /release management support and guidance for Endevor software
- Thorough knowledge of SQL Structured Query Language programming language and techniques
- Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
- The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
- The ability to provide CICS administration problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel
- Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality,
Required 7 Years - Experience providing configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software,
Required 7 Years - Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques,
Required 7 Years - Knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2,
