IT Audio/Visual & Video Security Systems Support I/II/III

This position provides technical support for Lincoln County's audio/visual (A/V) and video security systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting A/V issues, maintaining existing systems, designing new systems (Level III), and training staff on A/V equipment.
Levels- Level I:
Performs basic support tasks under close supervision. - Level II:
Leads A/V system design and implementation projects, manages upgrades, and recommends new technologies. - Level III:
Designs and implements complete A/V, VoIP, and security systems, manages projects, and stays abreast of industry advancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve A/V issues with VoIP, cloud meeting platforms, streaming services, and security camera systems.
- Assist staff with using video conferencing systems and other A/V equipment.
- Maintain configuration management databases for A/V and security systems.
- Participate in the design and implementation of A/V systems (Level I & II).
- Attend public meetings to ensure A/V systems are functioning properly (all levels).
- Provide training to staff on A/V and security systems (all levels).
- Collaborate with vendors and other IT team members (all levels).
- Manage A/V and video security system upgrade projects (Level II).
- Recommend and implement new A/V and security technologies (Level II).
- Design and implement complete A/V, VoIP, and security systems (Level III).
- Manage A/V, VoIP, and security system projects (Level III).
- Analyze existing systems and recommend upgrades or replacements (Level III).
- Draft A/V and security system specifications for RFPs (Level III).
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in A/V and security system technologies (Level III).
- Level I:
- Associate degree in A/V Systems, Computer Networking, or IT (or equivalent experience).
- Strong understanding of A/V equipment, troubleshooting skills, and customer service focus.
- Experience working on IT infrastructure is a plus.
- Level II:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, A/V Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 4 years of experience with A/V systems, phone systems, and security systems.
- Project management experience and excellent communication skills are essential.
- Level III:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, A/V Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 6 years of experience with A/V system design, implementation, and security systems.
- In-depth knowledge of A/V, VoIP, and security system technologies.
- Proven project management skills and strong analytical abilities.
