This is a Systems Analyst position first and foremost. So candidates should understand XML and development. Technical experience on systems projects like XML, messaging, rules engines, front to back trading anything relevant to Fin Reg is a plus that includes trade reporting to CFTC, EMIR, MAS, etc. Knowledge of derivatives (Credit, Rates, Equity, Commodity, Exchange Traded) Senior systems analyst (technical focus) for Regulatory Reporting Remediation and New Initiatives Requires understanding of message flows, FpML, and the end to end reporting process flow Requires understanding of Derivative Reform (CFTC, EMIR, MAS, Canada, HKMA, ASIC, SEC) Responsibilities Review and clarify Business Requirements from stakeholders Analyze and document requirements using advanced analysis techniques such as rule tables, decision models, sequence diagrams, swimlane diagrams Identify and resolve requirement conflicts Identify robust solutions with enough experience and industry knowledge to solve current and plan for expansion into broader application of same or similar logic Verify requirements, scope and priorities with business, systems and testing stakeholders Manage requirements, change and traceability Required Skill Set 6+ years Systems Analysis experience 4+ years Derivatives Regulatory Reform Trade Reporting to the Regulators Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong presentation skills (for example, with requirement walkthroughs with business and IT) Strong relationship management skills with global business and IT teams Strong analytical and problem solving skills reflected by involvement in complex projects Working knowledge of derivative products – ETD, OTC, Rates, Credit, FX, Equity, Commodities Working knowledge of XML, FPML, messaging and rules based systems Working knowledge of front-to-back processing (trade execution, settlement, and clearing) Working knowledge of requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation, adhering to standards Working knowledge of requirements management and planning Working knowledge of solution assessment and validation Preferred experience in systems development
