Time Management System Specialist - Kronos
Client is seeking a Technical Timekeeping Support Specialist to begin on-boarding Time Management Solution at the Hospitals. The need for the Temporary IT Consultant is to provide needed technical and project administrative support requirements for the on-boarding of staff at Hospital and other State Facilities. The contractor will report to the IT Director and Project Manager. The support focus will allow the Time Management System Operations group to focus on the on-going operations support minimizing project support needs from this group.
Contractor will support TMS and Facility IT staff in support of the timekeeping devices, integration needs for BEACON and FMRS. The contractor will support the TMS group with interface development and other on-boarding activities for Hospital and other State Facilities. Support data validation, testing and technical support training efforts.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Ad Hoc System Reporting
- Configuration and Assignment of Report Profiles
- Running/Scheduling Interfaces
- Front-End Technical Support (provide technical assistance for helpdesk activities)
- System Configuration (Navigator, Genies, Profiles, etc.)
- Data Validation/Audit tasks
- Monitor and Troubleshoot System Performance
- Change Management Documentation
- Software Testing
- Provide support for development and maintenance of Helpdesk Application and Web Portal (including SharePoint)
Skills Required:
- Experience with MS SQL server environments, database design, web servers, application servers, interface technologies, LDAP, and J2EE applications
- Experience in development of data systems and help desk support administration processes and procedures
- Experience implementing an enterprise-wide time management system like Kronos or other leading timekeeping application.
- Experience with SQL and Relational Database development. SQL Query Language skills with large databases (500+tables)
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming and Service Oriented Architectures
- Experience supporting (Time and Attendance) data collection systems and devices
- Experience working with and applications
- Experience with creating Crystal Reports Ad Hoc Reports, Frequency Reports, Summary Reports, Drill-down, and Dynamic grouping
- Ability to work independently and communicate with stakeholders and management
