Position Summary
This role involves design, development and review all the Database changes in the bank. As a Database Engineer he/she will apply industry accepted design and development practices for perform all the database related changes like DB design, normalization, SQL/ PL-SQL using Agile Methodology.
Required Qualifications- Expert-level proficiency in latest Oracle Database version.
- Proficiency in TOAD and similar tools
- Experience in OEM
- Strong Experience in SQL and PL/ SQL programming
- Proven experience in Database Design and Data modeling (ER Diagram and Normalization)
- Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structure and background processes.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning, including:
- Query Optimization
- Indexing strategies
- Use of AWR, ASH and Explain plan, etc.
