Geospatial Sr. Engineer Map
We are seeking a highly skilled Geo Spatial Sr. Engineer MAP / Sr. Data Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various Azure services, Snowflake, and ETL processes. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a day shift. The candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of geospatial data solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of geospatial data solutions using Azure services and Snowflake.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
- Provide expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Store, and Azure Data Lake to manage large-scale data processing.
- Utilize Azure Databricks for advanced data analytics and machine learning tasks.
- Manage and optimize Snowflake databases to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Implement and maintain Azure Pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows to ensure seamless operation.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions.
- Contribute to the company’s mission by delivering impactful data solutions that drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong experience with GITHUB, Snowflake SQL, Snowflake, and various Azure services.
- Should have expertise in Azure Pipelines, Azure Databricks, Azure Database, and Azure Data Factory.
- Must be proficient in ETL processes and tools, specifically Azure Data Factory ETL.
- Should have experience with Azure Data Lake Store and Azure Data Lake.
- Must have a solid understanding of Azure Admin and overall Azure ecosystem.
- Nice to have experience in managing hybrid work models and day shift operations.
- Should possess excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
