Hybrid role. Candidate must be local to the Triangle area. Work will be remote most days, with occasional onsite at client offices in Wake/Durham County. The position requires on‑site presence on the first day to collect equipment, and may require additional onsite attendance for meetings or task‑specific activities.

Client’s WEB Systems Team seeks a Front End Web Designer/Developer to support ongoing UX design and front‑end development for enterprise web applications and websites. The role focuses on building and maintaining accessible web UI components and ensuring consistent user experience across enterprise solutions.

• Create, update, and refresh web component and user interface prototypes.
• Build HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript in accessible ways for content management systems and enterprise products.
• Collaborate cross‑team across Transportation to bring user interface consistency.
• Perform training sessions/webinars for client’s business customers on created apps/sites/tools.

• JavaScript and Type Script proficiency – Required 5 Years
• Vue.js – Required 3 Years
• Vite for modern build tooling – Desired 3 Years
• State management with signals or reactive stores – Required 4 Years
• Web performance optimization – Required 3 Years
• Design systems and component library architecture – Desired 3 Years
• Accessibility (WCAG 2.2+) best practices – Required 3 Years
• User experience design – Required 3 Years
• Integration with systems like SAP, Service Now, SharePoint, etc. – Required 4 Years
