Knowledge of VSAM and Hierarchical database structures
Required Skills- Technical knowledge and experience with mainframe technology. COBOL 10years, CICS 10 yrs, VSAM 10yrs, and JCL (10yrs.)
- Knowledge and experience in converting data from one application to another (10 yrs.)
- Successful completion of technology projects within area of responsibility
- Analyzing feasibility, compatibility and cost of solutions
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge of FARS application
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to engage business experts in the purpose and use of data in the Benefit Payment Application
- Technical knowledge and experience with COBOL. Required 10 Years
- Technical knowledge and experience with CICS. Required 10 Years
- Technical knowledge and experience with VSAM files and relational databases. Required 10 Years
- Technical knowledge and experience with JCL. Required 10 Years.
- Knowledge and experience in transferring data sets from mainframe applications to Oracle / SQL based programs. Required 10 Years
- Successful completion of technology projects within area of responsibility, analyzing feasibility, compatibility and cost of solutions. Required
- Ability to engage business and technical experts in the cleansing and conversion of legacy data to Oracle. Highly desired 5 Years
- Ability to perform mainframe logic and decommissioning. Required 5 Years
- Strong organizational skills. Required
- Excellent analytical and problem, solving skills. Required
- Ability to engage business experts in the purpose and use of data in the Benefit Payment Application Desired
- Knowledge of FARS application Nice to have
