Senior Openshift Administrator
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Senior Open Shift Administrator to support and manage enterprise Open Shift environments, focusing on platform stability, troubleshooting, and automation. This individual will be responsible for day-to-day environment support, including handling ticketing workflows, troubleshooting issues, managing escalations, and documenting handoffs and root cause analyses. The role requires strong experience managing and deploying applications within Open Shift, as well as diagnosing issues across clusters, nodes, deployments, and platform services.
The ideal candidate will have 4–5+ years of hands-on Open Shift experience, including end-to-end deployments and problem resolution, along with 6+ years of overall Dev Ops experience in complex environments. Experience using Ansible to automate Open Shift operations is critical. Candidates with Red Hat certifications, experience with other Kubernetes platforms, or a background in telecommunications environments are highly preferred. Additional exposure to RHEL, Red Hat Satellite, and related Red Hat technologies will be considered a strong plus.
This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, production support environments.
