Our government client is looking for an experienced Database Programmer on an onsite 12+ months renewable contract role in Raleigh, NC
.
Database Programmer - ONSITE - W2 ONLY
Job Description- Data analysis and database management
- Designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning
- Creation of requirements for database, database schema, data maps, ERDs, application objects (i.e., tables, indexes, views, etc.)
- Creation of data rules to identify areas for data cleansing
- Conducting data profiling, data analysis, data cleansing, database design, database implementation, data conversion, and data governance for the State's DMV data
- 3 years of Understand data structures and schemas, and implementing appropriate indexes Required
- 5 years of Able to create logical and physical models of data to represent relationships and ensure data integrity Required
- 3 years of Working knowledge of DB2 and SQL Server database management systems (DBMS) Required
- 5 years of Understanding of the process of extracting data from various sources, transforming it, and loading it into a database Required
- 2 years of Use of at least one data cleansing tool Required
- 5 years of Able to create and execute test cases Required
- 3 years of Able to identify and resolve issues within the data cleansing process Highly desired
- 3 years of Able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Highly desired
- 5 years of Must meet deadlines and manage multiple streams of work Required
- 3 years of Able to dissect complex problems and derive insights from large datasets Highly desired
