Senior DBA - Encryption in Transit Lead

• Senior DBA (Encryption in Transit Project)
• Candidates with expertise in multiple database technologies are highly preferred, with DB2 experience considered a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, design, and implement Encryption in Transit (TLS/SSL) solutions for assigned database platforms.
• Work closely with application owners, infrastructure teams, and support teams to plan and coordinate implementation activities.
• Validate secure connectivity, ports, certificates, and encryption configurations.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues related to encrypted database communications.
• Develop implementation and validation procedures while ensuring minimal application disruption.
• Support testing, cutover planning, and production deployment activities.

Required Experience:

• Senior-level DBA experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and/or DB2.
• Hands‑on experience implementing and supporting database encryption in transit.
• Strong understanding of SSL/TLS, certificates, secure ports, and database connectivity.
• Ability to independently coordinate with application teams and manage implementation schedules.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred: At least one candidate should possess strongmulti-platform DBA expertise across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and preferably DB2 to provide cross‑platform guidance throughout the project.
