Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a large-scale statewide IT modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise IT projects, cross‑functional teams, executive stakeholders, vendors, and complex implementations from initiation through successful delivery.
Required Experience- 7+ years of IT Project Management experience
- 5+ years managing multiple large, complex enterprise programs/projects
- 7+ years creating project roadmaps and portfolio planning
- 5+ years developing business cases, cost‑benefit analysis, and market analysis
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget
- Strong experience with project planning, risk management, scheduling, quality assurance, testing, communications, and stakeholder management
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
- PMP Certification
- North Carolina State Government experience
- Public Health domain experience
- Experience leading statewide IT implementations
- Legacy system modernization and data migration experience
- Experience collaborating with State and Local Government agencies
