Sr. Delivery Practice Manager, HCLS, AWS Professional Services, Healthcare & Life Sciences

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our AWS Strategic Industries, Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) Delivery team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will manage a team of Pro Serve HCLS Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects. You will leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background in HCLS to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.

• Build and manage a high‑performing team of Delivery Consultants.
• Collaborate with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative, forward‑looking IT strategies for customers.
• Manage practice P&L, ensuring on‑time and within‑budget delivery of customer engagements.
• Drive business development initiatives and exceed customer satisfaction targets.

• 8+ years of IT and/or Management Consulting, or 3+ years of people leadership experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑a‑service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges.
• 3+ years of experience in the healthcare and/or life sciences industry.

• Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on‑premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP).
• Experience with international sales and delivery work with global Fortune 500 enterprise customers and partners.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technology.
• Experience building and maintaining C‑level client relationships.
• Experience with communication, presentation, and negotiation.
• Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture.
