RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an RH Open Shift Git Ops (ArgoCD) Senior Consultant in Raleigh, NC.

Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Open Shift Git Ops (ArgoCD) Senior Consultant to support enterprise automation initiatives across Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform (OCP) environments. This consultant will help design, implement, and optimize Git Ops-based deployment strategies while driving infrastructure and platform automation using Open Shift Git Ops (ArgoCD). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes, Open Shift administration, CI/CD automation, Git Ops methodologies, and cloud-native platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, implement, and manage Git Ops deployment solutions using Red Hat Open Shift Git Ops (ArgoCD)

* Automate application deployments, configuration management, and Open Shift platform operations

* Configure and maintain ArgoCD applications, projects, repositories, RBAC, and synchronization policies

* Develop automation solutions for Open Shift Container Platform (OCP) administration and lifecycle management

* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using technologies such as Jenkins, Tekton, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or similar tools

* Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, and Application teams to onboard applications into Git Ops-managed environments

* Troubleshoot deployment failures, configuration drift, synchronization issues, and cluster health concerns

* Support Open Shift upgrades, patching, platform modernization, and automation initiatives

* Implement security, compliance, and policy controls within Git Ops workflows

* Create operational documentation, automation standards, and runbooks

* Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance for Kubernetes and Open Shift environments

REQUIREMENTS:

* 6+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Dev Ops, Cloud Infrastructure, or Linux Administration

* 3+ years of hands-on experience with Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform (OCP)

* Experience automating infrastructure and platform operations

* Strong expertise with ArgoCD and Git Ops deployment methodologies

* Experience developing automation using Ansible, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages

* Experience with Git-based source control platforms such as Git Hub, Git Lab, or Bitbucket

* Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines

* Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, operators, name spaces, networking, storage, and RBAC

* Strong troubleshooting skills within containerized and distributed environments

* Excellent communication and consulting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform

* Experience supporting cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

* Knowledge of Dev Sec Ops  practices and security automation

* Experience with enterprise-scale Open Shift implementations

* Red Hat, Kubernetes, or Cloud certifications preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
