Administration, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday HRIS - Reporting and Prism
Responsibilities- Design, build, test, and maintain Workday reports, including Advanced, Matrix, Composite, and Custom Reports with Calculated Fields
- Develop dashboards, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, and BIRT reports
- Translate business requirements into scalable and user-friendly reporting solutions
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, Benefits, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in accordance with Workday security roles and governance standards
- Support regulatory, compliance, and audit reporting needs (e.g., EEO-1, ACA, SOX, internal audits)
- Troubleshoot reporting issues, perform root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements
- Provide internal client support, including report writing and dashboard building
- Optimize existing reports for performance, usability, and consistency
- Support Workday releases by testing report impacts and implementing enhancements
- Create documentation, job aids, and training materials for end users
- Promote best practices in Workday reporting, data governance, and self-service analytics
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience in information systems, Analytics, HR, Finance, or a related field
- Extensive Workday Prism knowledge with creating and maintaining 5+ use cases
- 2+ years of statistical or data analysis experience designing custom reports and dashboards using standard Workday reporting functionality such as Report Writer, calculated fields, and Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills
- Strong expertise in Workday reporting tools and frameworks
- Solid understanding of Workday business processes and data structures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions based on area of focus and business needs
- Experience working with calculated fields, prompts, and report performance optimization
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical audiences
- A history of working with confidential data is required
- Workday Prism Certification
- Experience with Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits
- Experience with Discovery Boards and data visualization best practices
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security concepts
- Prior experience supporting a large tenant ecosystem with multiple tenants
- Experience working with Service Now for HR Tickets
