Role Overview
Field Project Managers are advanced technical and project leaders responsible for large‑scale, high‑complexity AV integration projects. This role provides expert‑level system design execution, advanced programming and troubleshooting, and technical leadership across teams while ensuring quality, timelines, team performance, and client satisfaction. This position also oversees field technicians assigned to projects, ensuring productivity, accountability, and adherence to company standards. Each PM is responsible for the complete oversight and management of their jobs including day‑to‑day communication with builder, homeowner, and all internal and external stakeholders and maintaining an acceptable gross margin on every job.

Salary: $65,000+ depending on experience

Core Responsibilities

• Lead large‑scale or high‑complexity projects from installation through commissioning
• Manage and supervise field technicians, including task delegation, scheduling coordination, performance oversight, and on‑site leadership
• Perform advanced programming for automation, lighting, audio/video distribution, and networks
• Handle advanced troubleshooting and escalations
• Understand and manage workflow for teams and timelines
• Ensure quality control and client satisfaction
• Train, mentor, and develop lower‑tier technicians

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years AV experience
• Expert‑level troubleshooting and system integration skills
• Strong leadership, team management, and decision‑making abilities
• Deep understanding of AV industry best practices and standards
• Ability to interface confidently with clients, vendors, field teams, and internal leadership
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills

Certifications

• Control4 Automation Programmer
• PCNA or equivalent networking certification
• Lutron RA3 with lighting competency

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator / IT Support Specialist to manage and support our company’s day‑to‑day technology needs. This is a hands‑on position supporting employees, maintaining systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and helping ensure reliable and secure business operations.

This is not an entry‑level role. We are looking for someone with professional IT experience, formal training, and the ability to work independently in a small business environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide on‑site and remote technical support for employees
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, phone, and network issues
• Configure and maintain computers, laptops, and office equipment
• Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, permissions, and email systems
• Support Wi‑Fi, VPN access, remote desktop tools, and network connectivity
• Assist with cybersecurity, software updates, and endpoint protection
• Handle employee onboarding and offboarding
• Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and vendor relationships

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional IT support or systems administration experience
• Formal IT training and/or industry certifications
• Strong knowledge of:
• Windows operating systems
• Microsoft 365
• Remote desktop and remote support tools
• Hardware and software troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications
• Experience supporting small businesses
• Experience with VPNs, VoIP systems, network equipment, and cybersecurity tools
