Service Support Analyst
Location:
Raleigh, NC
Duration: 3+ months (Onsite)
Seeking for a Service Support Analyst with basic technical knowledge of Physical Security and IT systems. The role involves creating programs and procedures aligned with the Facilities Access Control System (FACS) initiatives.
- Document and coordinate activities related to inventory management and Genetec software.
- Manage and account for all equipment, devices, materials, and parts for building implementation.
- Perform semi-annual inventory assessments and submit reports to Security Management.
- Generate and submit scheduled reports to Security Management.
- Invoice materials upon arrival and manage safety stock requirements.
- Coordinate and verify scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs).
- Identify end-of-life devices and arrange replacements.
- Manage badging supplies and restocking.
- Handle quotes and invoices related to inventory.
- Adhere to Surplus procedures for surplus processes.
- Discard retired servers per Information Security Office procedures.
- Support the Security Operations Center (SOC) with basic system configurations.
- Assist SOC team and vendor partner with troubleshooting.
- Perform monthly device testing and document findings.
- Assist in creating documents for new building construction and device requests.
- Manage device removal for building alterations or other reasons and brief IT-EMS.
- Submit incidents, requests, and track all in accordance with IT-EMS standards.
- 3+ years of experience in physical security with knowledge of security systems.
- Experience troubleshooting security devices and understanding the Genetec platform.
- Experience with installation and service of video surveillance equipment, IP cameras, and card readers.
- Ability to create and maintain required documentation.
- Working knowledge of office applications (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of the Service Now platform.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Able to construct new policies and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
