We're looking for a Field Technician I to provide onsite technical support for our clients across the Triangle and surrounding areas.
This role is ideal for someone who has built a foundation in IT support, enjoys troubleshooting technology, and wants to work directly with clients to solve problems in person. It's a great opportunity to build on Service Desk or Help Desk experience while supporting clients across a variety of business environments and technologies.

What You’ll Do- Travel to client locations to resolve technical issues that require onsite support
- Troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, peripherals, and common business applications
- Install and configure hardware and software
- Support user onboarding, workstation deployments, and equipment replacements
- Assist with networking, device connectivity, and infrastructure-related support
- Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, professionalism, and a solutions-oriented approach
- Communicate technical concepts in a way clients can easily understand
- Document work performed and collaborate with teammates to deliver effective client support
- Enjoy solving technical problems and working through challenges independently
- Like building relationships and helping customers in person
- Adapt quickly to new environments and situations
- Enjoy variety and appreciate that every day looks a little different
- Approximately 1-2 years of IT support experience
- Experience troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with ability to travel regularly to client sites throughout the region
- Desktop Support, onsite technical support, or MSP experience
- Experience with Connect Wise or similar ticketing systems
- Networking knowledge or Microsoft certifications
- A fully remote support role
- The same environment every day
- Frequent onsite client visits (typically 3+ days per week) across a variety of business environments
- Participation in an on-call rotation (approximately one week every three months)
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and work in confined spaces when needed
- Occasional ladder use
- Eligible for profit sharing
- Overtime eligibility as applicable
