Overview
Wake Med is seeking a Systems Analyst II, Home Health to support the design, build, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of Epic applications. This role serves as a key liaison between Information Services, operational departments, end users, and vendors to ensure technology solutions effectively support patient care and business operations.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver with strong analytical skills, Epic application experience, and a passion for improving workflows and system performance.
Key Responsibilities Application Build & Change Management (40%)- Analyze customer requirements and implement application enhancements and system changes.
- Configure, test, validate, and support Epic applications.
- Lead change requests and application optimization initiatives.
- Analyze department workflows, reporting needs, and operational processes.
- Recommend and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and performance.
- Apply best practices to system design and lifecycle management.
- Provide high-quality Tier 2 support for assigned applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and workflow issues.
- Collaborate with users, technical teams, and vendors to identify and implement solutions.
- Maintain documentation for application changes and support processes.
- Educate team members and stakeholders on system updates and enhancements.
- Develop report specifications and partner with report developers to support operational and regulatory reporting needs.
- Ensure reporting solutions meet business requirements and compliance standards.
- Minimum of 3 years of Information Technology Systems Analysis experience.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
- Associate degree in Technology, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
- Epic Certification in area of responsibility.
- Relevant clinical, technical, or professional certification/licensure.
- Experience supporting Epic or other healthcare applications.
- Strong understanding of clinical and operational workflows.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
