IT Integration Architect Manager | Healthcare Technology
Metric Bio is partnered with a high-growth healthcare technology company developing innovative medical imaging, digital and AI-enabled solutions.
We’re looking for an IT Integration Architect Manager to lead customer-facing IT integration across hospital environments and build a scalable integration function as the business expands internationally.
The role:- Lead hospital IT integration from initial technical assessment through deployment, testing, go-live and handover.
- Design customer-specific architectures covering networking, cybersecurity, remote access, infrastructure and clinical system integration.
- Integrate healthcare platforms including PACS, IMS, VNA, EMR/EHR and related systems.
- Lead DICOM connectivity and configuration, with exposure to HL7/FHIR highly desirable.
- Own hospital cybersecurity reviews, technical questionnaires and IT governance processes.
- Troubleshoot complex networking, connectivity, integration and infrastructure issues.
- Build, lead and develop an IT Integration Engineering team
. - Create repeatable deployment processes, documentation and integration standards to support international growth.
- 7+ years’ experience in hospital IT, healthcare interoperability, medical device deployment or clinical systems engineering
. - 2+ years leading people or complex technical projects.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, Windows, Active Directory and network troubleshooting
. - Experience with DICOM, PACS, IMS or VNA environments.
- Understanding of on-prem, cloud and hybrid architectures.
- Experience navigating healthcare cybersecurity and privacy requirements, including HIPAA/GDPR
. - Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel internationally, up to ~50%.
Experience with
digital pathology, medical imaging, AI-enabled medical applications, cloud/edge infrastructure or regulated medical devices would be advantageous.
US-based (Ideally East Coast) | International travel required
