We are hiring a Business Intelligence Analyst II to design, develop, and maintain data analytics and business intelligence solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization. In this role, you ll partner with data scientists, analysts, operational leaders, and clinical stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights. You ll also serve as a mentor to junior analysts while helping drive innovation, scalability, and performance across our analytics environment.
What you ll do- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and analytics solutions that support operational, clinical, and strategic initiatives.
- Build and enhance dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Qlik View to communicate meaningful insights and key performance metrics.
- Implement and optimize data models, data processing workflows, and analytical frameworks with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define data needs, and translate business questions into actionable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote analytics best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation across the team.
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, SQL development, and Epic Clarity Data Model environments.
- Epic certification in the applicable area of responsibility.
- Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Qlik View is preferred.
- Additional experience in systems analysis, Health Catalyst Subject Area Mart, nursing, or acute care environments is highly valued.
- Strong understanding of healthcare data, analytics, and reporting requirements.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for business and clinical stakeholders.
- Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
- Passion for mentoring others and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
