We are seeking an experienced EHR Technical Business Analyst to support healthcare data integration and interoperability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, SAS, Inter Systems Health Share, EHR systems, and healthcare data standards. This role involves leading technical analysis, supporting data integration efforts, developing complex queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality healthcare data exchange.

Required

Skills
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL, SAS, and Inter Systems Health Share
  • Strong knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) systems and clinical data architecture
  • SME-level experience with HL7 v2 and C-CDA standards
  • Experience with ETL processes, data validation, data transformation, and business reporting
  • Knowledge of Health Information Exchange (HIE) standards and HIPAA compliance
  • Experience leading technical analysis for complex EHR integration projects
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business users, vendors, and clinical stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Lead technical analysis and support EHR integration initiatives.
  • Maintain and support healthcare data integration platforms and related technical infrastructure.
  • Develop and optimize SQL, SAS, and Inter Systems Health Share queries for reporting and data analysis.
  • Validate data extracts, monitor ETL processes, and support data transformation activities.
  • Analyze clinical workflows and document business and technical requirements.
  • Support system enhancements, issue resolution, and change management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare interoperability standards and HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, system reliability, and successful project delivery.
Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
