As a Supervisor within the Management Consulting, Life Sciences Industry practice, you will become a leader in one of the fastest growing and most entrepreneurial groups within RSM. You will have the resources and cross functional support of the largest middle market firm but will be able to operate in a lean and agile environment where your ideas and experience can directly shape what service offerings we provide to our clients and how we approach them.

We are looking for a candidate that can solve the complex problems the middle market faces throughout the entire value chain. We need leaders that can identify the real problems our clients are facing and use data to prescribe innovative strategic and operational solutions. Finally, we need people that can effectively communicate with clients and team members and foster long lasting relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical support and industry insight during client assessments to understand and define the current state through data, opinions, observations, interviews and facilitated workshops
- Advise clients on their front and back-office digital transformation journeys including digital strategy development, digital assessments, roadmap development and advising on emerging technologies
- Provide expertise in Contract Research Organization (CRO) business processes and IT systems and solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimization of technology platforms to support clinical trials and research activities
- Lead and advise on technology transformation initiatives, including the implementation and optimization of industry-specific systems (i.e., (e.g., CTMS, eTMF, EDC, LIMS, eQMS, ERP, project operations and finance systems).
- Guide clients through navigating and ensuring compliance with FDA, EMA, ISO standards, and other relevant regulations (e.g., GLP, GCP)
- Manage and oversee complex projects and programs for clients, including change management and global operations
- Communicate effectively both internally with the engagement team and externally with client employees and C-suite to maintain excellent client relationships
- Lead efforts regarding business development, networking, proposals, and marketing content
- Lead engagement economics such as proposal budgeting and pricing, margin management, billing, risk management, etc.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6+ years of professional consulting experience or relevant industry experience, with an emphasis on Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex business problems through fact gathering, business process mapping and data analysis
- Proven track record of leading projects or work streams related to technology selection, implementation, or optimization.
- Hands-on experience with key technology platforms used by CROs, such as:
- Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)
- Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF)
- Electronic Data Capture (EDC)
- eQMS or Document Management Systems
- ERP or Financial Management Systems (e.g., Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Workday Adaptive)
- Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity
- Excellent verbal and written communication, project management, and organization skills
- Client service and relationship building skills
