NC State University is hiring an OIT Managed Desktop Support Analyst. This role involves providing comprehensive support for workstations and peripherals in the OIT Managed Desktop Service, including troubleshooting, configuration, and customer service. The analyst actively resolves hardware, software, operating system, and networking issues while collaborating with users and IT teams to ensure high-quality technical support and project participation.
Highlights- Supports and troubleshoots workstations, laptops, and peripherals within OIT Managed Desktop Service.
- Uses tools such as SCCM and Jamf Pro for system management and application deployment.
- Communicates effectively with end users and IT staff to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Participates in application support, system integration, and networking tasks as a senior support team member.
- Manages project tasks, prioritizes work, and may lead project teams.
- Requires knowledge of Windows and Apple endpoint configuration, Active Directory, Service Now, and IT security practices.
- Bachelor’s degree with one year IT experience, Associate’s degree with three years, or High School equivalency with six years in IT required.
- Valid North Carolina Driver’s License mandatory within 30 days of hire.
- Annual salary range provided: $63,800 to $68,000.
- Works under Technology Support Services department providing technology consulting and managed desktop services across NC State University campus.
