Integration Engineer

Data Integration, API, And ETL Developer

Client seeks highly technical resources to serve as Data Integration, API, and ETL developers responsible for creating real-time, on-demand, batch, and scheduled data interfaces and processing between internal and external systems and applications. This Integration/Interface Engineer position must be well-organized and able to manage multiple technical, business, and testing efforts. Duties include requirements gathering, solution design and implementation, and supporting go-live and post-implementation activities.

Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB)/App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and/or Mule Soft or Boomi
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python programming.
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns, REST/SOAP web services, JMS, MQ, XML, JSON, and API development.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Solid understanding of system integration, enterprise architecture principles, technical sizing, scalability, and high availability.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and version control tools such as Git.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

In addition to IIB/ACE experience, preference will be given to candidates with experience designing and developing integration solutions using Mule Soft. Experience with integrator/deployment tools such as Team City and various Dev Ops tools including Sonar Qube, deployment tools such as Ant/Maven, SCM tools like Bitbucket, and testing automation tools such as TOSCA and Selenium is also desired.
