Digital Experience Design Specialist

Local Government Federal Credit Union, in partnership with Civic Federal Credit Union, seeks a Digital Experience Design Specialist to craft intuitive, inclusive digital banking experiences for North Carolina's local government community. In this role, you'll translate member needs and business goals into user-centered flows, wireframes, and prototypes for web and mobile. You'll leverage research, data, and testing to improve journeys, reduce friction, and support financial wellness.

Collaborating with product, engineering, and marketing, you'll advance our digital-first, mission-driven services and help drive positive community impact.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize end-to-end digital banking experiences across web and mobile for members and staff
• Translate member and business needs into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Conduct user research, journey mapping, and usability testing to inform experience improvements
• Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and operations to deliver cohesive digital solutions
• Use data and analytics to identify friction points and propose experience enhancements
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency with brand and design systems
• Document requirements, interaction patterns, and design standards for digital products
• Support ongoing iteration of online and mobile banking features based on feedback and performance metrics
