The Center for Geospatial Analytics ( CGA ) at North Carolina State University is a premier interdisciplinary hub dedicated to addressing grand challenges through spatial data science and geospatial analytics. The Center offers a vibrant research environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities, including the Geovisualization Lab, where we pioneer cutting‑edge open source tools and geospatial approaches. The Center for Geospatial Analytics is seeking a highly qualified instructor to join our academic programs at the rank of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor (non-tenure). The candidates we are seeking are forward‑looking instructors with a strong background in both foundational geospatial concepts and skills alongside modern approaches, such as open-source and cloud-based/native platforms, WebGIS, GeoAI, Geospatial Data Science, and a strong interest in innovative geospatial pedagogy and dedication to student success.
