Job Description

Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise. National General is hiring an Auto Field Adjuster in the Raleigh, Cary, Apex and Moorisville regions. The ideal candidate resides in the Raleigh area or within 40 miles west of Raleigh and has experience assessing auto damage both in the field and virtually.

Insurance claims experience and proficiency in CCC One for writing estimates is preferred. We are seeking someone customer-focused and skilled in organization, multi-tasking and communication.

• Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers
• Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses
• Processes a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the file within escalated authority limits

Base compensation offered for this role is:

• Field Adjuster Analyst III: $21.20 - $38.51/hour
• Field Adjuster Cons I: $26.49 - $37.50/hour
• Field Adjuster Cons II: $28.03 - 39.42/hour

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.
